Playset and trampoline — what we will not do
We will not take an assembled playset over a fence. We will not rebuild a trampoline. Boxed toys, yes. How we draw the line on a Kansas City yard — local only.
Outdoor furniture and grill is chairs and a grate. Garage as a room is the bay. Packing the kids’ rooms is the house. This page is the yard we will not take apart: an assembled playset, a trampoline over a fence, a rebuild we are not. Boxed toys, yes. Two ZIP codes: Get my price. We will not write “licensed and insured.”
From [$XXX] an hour for two movers and a truck — two movers and a truck. Most local jobs $1,200–$1,500. Boxes of toys inside a house move can sit in that band. A playset over a fence will not — we will not quote that as a house add-on. What changes the price. How we quote: two ZIP codes. Compare hours: how to compare hourly quotes. Damage: [TIM'S DAMAGE POLICY]. What I will honour: [WHAT TIM WILL HONOUR].
What we will not do
- We will not take an assembled wooden playset over a fence
- We will not rebuild a trampoline or a swing set at the new yard
- We will not invent a landscape crew
- Propane and loose fuel stay off the truck — what not to put on the truck
- What stays in the ground: posts, a poured pad — what you are not taking
What we will do: boxed toys, a folded small slide if it is already apart, patio chairs — that is the outdoor page. Packing per box: standard $10–20, wardrobe $25–30, dish pack $30–40. A playset is not a box. Labour only does not turn us into a demolition crew — labour-only. Kids out of the yard while we load the house: kids and pets.
What can still ride
A bin of balls. A scooter. Cushions from the patio set. A grill with the tank off. That is furniture and boxes — how we pad and wrap furniture. Floors if it comes through the house: how we protect floors and rails, doorway and banister. A long carry of boxes is still a carry — long carry and shuttle. A walk-up with toys: walk-ups. Stairs: stairs and tight turns. We will not tip a half-taken-apart tower to “see if it fits.”
A hot tub over a fence is a different specialty we do name — hot tubs, hot tub moves. A pool table is a table — pool tables, pool table moves. A piano is a piano — pianos, piano moves, baby grand ([REAL JOB] stays). We will not invent an insurance figure for a slide. White glove is placement in the house, not a yard build — white glove, white glove vs standard.
If you already took it apart
Hardware in a bag. Pieces you can lift. Photos — photos that get a written price. Video: video walkthrough. Walk: what a walkthrough looks like. If the pile is a cleanout, that is the cleanout page — when a cleanout is the job. How long: how long a local move takes. If it runs long we will not start a playset teardown at 4pm — what we do if it runs long. A tip is not a rebuild — tipping. Two people will not become a third for a fence lift we already refused — when you need a third, how we staff three.
Rain on a wet wood tower we will not take: rain and ice. Ice: winter moving day. Heat: July and August. Weekend vs weekday: weekend vs weekday. Month-end: month-end. Same-day: same-day. After the form: after you request a price.
Access does not change the refusal

Frequently asked questions
Will you take the playset down?
No. We will not take an assembled playset over a fence or rebuild it. Hire the set company or take it apart yourself.
The trampoline is already in pieces.
Photos. If it is a stack you can lift, say so. We will not rebuild it.
Toys in bins?
Yes. That is boxes. See packing the kids’ rooms.
Is this the patio page?
Chairs and a grill are the outdoor page. This page is what we will not do in the yard.
Can labour-only include the playset?
No. Labour only is still our labour. We will not become a demolition crew.
Box the toys. Leave the tower.
Two ZIP codes and what is already apart. We will write a yes on boxes and a no on an assembled playset.
