Put every quote on the same sheet
- Both ZIP codes, or both full addresses
- Size of the place
- Stairs, lift, or a long carry — at both ends
- Packing included or not, and which rooms
- Piano, hot tub, safe, china cabinet listed, not assumed
- Appliances disconnect and hookup included or not
- Who quoted it, and whether that person is on the job
If one number is much lower, find the missing row before you assume it is the better value. The like-for-like habit is the same one we use on the cost guide.
Questions that actually change the job
