Photos that get you a written moving price

Two ZIP codes start a price. They do not finish it. A bed count without a stair photo is how a walk-up gets two people. Send the access and the awkward list, and we can write a number that matches the house you actually have. The form is Get my price.

That is the same habit as comparing Kansas City movers: same scope, same photos, same sheet. The bands we already publish — $1,200–$1,500 for most local jobs, $3,000–$4,000 with full packing — still sit on what changes the price. Photos decide which side of the band you are on.

What to shoot before you hit send

• The street and where a truck can sit — both ends if they differ
• The drive, cul-de-sac, or lot from the curb
• Each stair flight and the landing, not just the top step
• Door widths on the unit, the stairwell, and the street door
• The garage door from outside and inside if we are loading through it
• Awkward pieces: piano, safe, china cabinet, pool table, hot tub
• The basement washer path if it has never come up — appliances

A video walking from the awkward piece to the curb is better than ten stills of the living room. We already know what a sofa looks like. We do not know your landing.

Stairs, lots, and streets

A walk-up needs the floor count and the stair well. A Raytown ranch needs the basement flight even when the porch looks one-level. Independence split-levels need both short flights. Grandview long lots need the carry from the street. Blue Springs needs the garage and the cul-de-sac that looks wide until you reverse.

The awkward list is not optional

Packing photos are a different line

A cleanout photo looks different from a house move: piles, dump runs, empty-by-Friday. Do not send a tidy living room and mean a cleanout. When a cleanout is the job.
