The four weeks get you to the date. Morning of is a different list: where the truck sits, what stays in your car, and whether the garage is still a door. We do not start packing the kitchen at 8am because someone ran out of evenings. That packing decision belongs in the four weeks.

Before we roll the first dolly
- A path from the door to where the truck can legally sit
- Kids and pets out of the walkway — or a closed room that is not being loaded first
- A first-night bag that does not go on the truck
- Jewelry, meds, and papers in your car, not a dresser drawer
- The garage empty enough to be a door if that is the load path
- Someone with a key at both ends if the destination is not you
Photos the night before still help if something changed — photos that get a written price. We already quoted the stair. We need to know if a car is now in it.
Where the truck sits
Brookside and Waldo brick streets, a Raytown narrow drive, a Blue Springs cul-de-sac that looks wide, a Grandview long lot off 71 — morning is when the neighbours finish parking.
