Craft room and hobby gear on a Kansas City move

A craft room is not a workshop and it is not a kids’ room. Yarn, beads, a sewing machine, a cutting table that is also a station — that is this page. Tools and oil belong on packing the garage workshop. Toys and bunks belong on packing the kids’ rooms.

What you finish before we walk the room

• Cap and bag small beads, findings, and pins. They will not ride loose in a drawer.
• Wet paint, stain, and solvents stay off the truck — what not to put on the truck.
• A sewing machine is furniture. Unplug it. We will not guarantee a motor or a timing belt.
• Folding cutting tables close. Glass tops come off — glass table tops off.
• Irreplaceable patterns or albums ride with you — photo albums.

How we treat the furniture
