Rain
Floors get wet. Cardboard gets soft. We pad the path and we do not pretend a mattress bag is a roof. Open boxes on a porch in a downpour are how you pack twice. Finish the kitchen and bedrooms under a roof. Per-box prices stay on packing.
A long carry on a Grandview lot in rain is slower. A visitor bay in a town home with no overhang is slower. That can change the hour count. We will say so rather than run.
Ice
Ice is the stop. A Raytown narrow drive, a steep Independence slab, a north stair on a walk-up — we will not tip a dresser on that for a school-year Monday. Lee's Summit school-year moves still have to land, but not on a sheet of ice. We will look for the next clear window and say what is free.
Salt and a scraped path help. They do not make a piano flight safe. Type and floor still belong on the request — piano moves. A basement safe on ice at the bulkhead is a delay.
The truck sit
